Myth 4 – Digital photography offers more creative techniques than film.

This sounds a lot like myth number one to me. Most of what you can do in Photoshop you can do in a darkroom and has been done in the darkroom on $200 enlargers for fifty years or more (as opposed to $1000 or more computers with $500 copies of Photoshop that have to be upgraded every year). It has been made somewhat easier in that you can put a computer on the kitchen table and a couple hundred programmers have done much of the work for you. When someone tells you that they can finally do things in digital photography that they never could do before, walk away fast! It just means they were never willing to do the work. Or put another way, their work wasn't important enough for them to put in the time to learn the technique.
